The primary objective of Mumbai Pune Analytics Community is to bring together Analytics and BI enthusiasts so as to leverage the collective knowledge of the community members. The community looks forward to network in all areas of analytics and not restrict to certain domains. The group has planned to meet once a month at the office premises of one of the community members. The forum would facilitate collaborative learning and experiential knowledge sharing around strategies, best practices, methodologies, tools, and techniques.

First such meeting was held in Mumbai. The two hour meeting started with a 30 minute discussion on creating a roadmap to ensure the community is self sustainable, setting up few broad objectives and a steering committee. This was followed by two 30 minute expert talks and a 15 minute discussion on planning the next meeting, clubbed with networking and refreshments.

The session was conducted to focus on best practices around design, aesthetics and better representation.
