Auto Filter

The auto filter provides a quick way of filtering data .just enter a value within the rows cell to make the grid filter data against the corresponding column.

Banded Report

Banded views allow you to anchor particular bands to the bands to the left or right edge of the view.such fixed bands are never scolled when the view is scrolled horizontally , only non-fixed bands scrolled.

Export Report

User can export report in various formats like Excel, HTML, XML etc. User will be allowed to do so if  Export Report rights option have been checked.

Interval Grouping

To display report in day wise, month wise ,Quarter wise ,year wise Format. For example if user wants to see report year wise then select option from Available grouping list.

Layout

In reporting, layout defines the appearance of the report, including formatting, style, and design.

In report specifications, layout is also the name of an element that defines how the data returned

by queries is presented.

Multilevel Report

Add Level to a new or existing report that contain different content to create a multiple-Level

report

Query

A description of the data to be retrieved from a database. Queries identify what columns or

query items to include or show in the result set, and what operations should be performed as the

data is retrieved.

Query item

A representation of a column of data in a data source. It contains a reference to a database

column, a reference to another query item, or a calculation. Query items may appear in a model

or in a report.

Summary

In reporting, summaries are aggregate values that are calculated for all the values of a particular

level or dimension. Examples of summaries include total, minimum, maximum, average, and

count.

To sort the data as per the requirement

View Reports

A View report is a report that shows data in rows and columns. Each column shows all the values

for a query item in the database or a calculation based on query items in the database.

XML

A language that uses markup symbols or tags to create descriptions of the structure of data.

The XML standard is defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and is related to

HTML and SGML. Unlike HTML, XML is extensible because the tags aren’t predefined or

limited.
